Metrix*MX8031延长电缆已通过机构认证，适用于危险区域（ATEX/CE、CSA、IECEx），并标配VibeLock™接头和双层屏蔽电缆。它们可用于炼油厂、石化厂、空气分离厂、天然气传输、天然气加工或任何石油和天然气应用场合，以及包括核能在内的发电厂中。Metrix* MX8031延长电缆可配备或不配备保护铠装，并且与所有Metrix MX8030系列的8mm探头系统以及Bently Nevada**（BN）3300/3300XL的5mm和8mm探头系统兼容。所有MX8031延长电缆都是10000系列部件型号的一部分，用以获得机构的批准。10000系列型号将与MX8031型号一起出现在产品标签上，例如MX8031-AAA-BB-CC=10200-AAA-BB-CC。
